These antique porcelain insulator tubes were used in the early 1900s for electrical wires that were passed through wood to a prevent fires. This unglazed porcelain is offers a high grit that’s great for a quick hone similarly to the unglazed bottom rim of a coffee cup. 

The case is hand stitched oak tanned and imprinted cow leather. The antler toggle allows the sharpener to be carried on a belt or off of a pack. The tie is brain tanned buckskin.💕
