The Trailhand
Made by Jason’s son Kamui:
Hand-forged from a reclaimed 5160 leaf spring, the Trailhand is a workhorse knife built for bushcraft, camping, and everyday field use. Its 4.25” blade features a brut de forge finish, a robust spine, and durable edge geometry designed for strength and reliability.
The 3.5” antler handle incorporates a subtle palm swell for a natural, secure grip, flowing into a hand-forged extraction curl that provides a positive finger index for drawing the knife from its deep-riding scout-carry sheath. The curl also allows the knife to be hung as an alternate means of storage. A cord lanyard finished with brass and bone beads offers additional grip during the draw.
Built with simple, rugged construction to match its working character, the handmade leather scout-carry sheath keeps the knife secure, accessible, and comfortable to carry across the back.
