Hand-forged from a railroad spike, this piece was originally completed as a custom piece, now offered as a unique standalone item. It measures approximately 10.25” overall, with a 6” blade and a 4.25” handle. While it’s capable of handling general use, the nature of railroad spike steel means it does not achieve the same hardness or edge retention as high-carbon steels. Regular sharpening may be needed with use. It’s not designed as a heavy-duty, “use-and-abuse” knife, but it shines as a unique display piece, a meaningful heirloom, or a functional blade for general tasks.
